This article is aimed at anyone that has connected their bank account to Digit using Open Banking.

Regulations determine that accounts connected using open banking need to be reconnected at a maximum of every 90 days.

This process is very similar to connecting through open banking in the first place.

How will I know when my account needs to be reconnected?

  1. Head to the Bank accounts tab within Digit

2. Find the account you are using for open banking and look in the column named Bank Feed. This will show you how many days you have left before you are required to reconnect.

When you only have a week left, this will be highlighted here in red. Once the time has expired you will be shown the message below:

How do I reconnect my bank account?

  1. In the Bank Feed column, click on the field that shows you how long you have left. In the example below you would click on ‘90 days left’

2. Click ‘Agree and connect account’ in the new popup

3. Follow the instructions on the external website until you are navigated back into SchemeServe. You will then be prompted to choose which bank account you wish to connect then click 'Proceed with selected'

4. Select the date from which you want to import and then confirm by clicking ‘Import transactions’. This import may take a few minutes to load, you don't need to refresh the page.

5. You have now reconnected your bank account and should see that you once again have 90 days left until you need to reconnect again

When should I reconnect my bank account?

We recommend doing this at least a week before the time is due to run out. This allows for some time in case there are any issues.

Can I disconnect my account from open banking manually?

Yes, simply click the cog icon in the bank accounts section, then click ‘Disconnect bank feed’. Then Click ‘Revoke connection.’

Can I connect through open banking again, even if I have revoked connection?

Yes here are the steps:

  1. Navigate to the bank account you want to connect and click 'Account actions' and ‘Enable open banking

2. This will take you through the same process as earlier in this article, see from step 2 above.
